I have previously worked as in-house counsel at the Boston Police Department and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In those roles I worked with the high-level management on writing and revising employee rules and handbooks, devising policy and protocols for employee conduct and assessing reasonable accommodations under the Americans With Disabilities Act.
I have litigation experience in both state and federal courts and administrative agencies including the Civil Service Commission and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. I have also represented management in appeals of discipline in arbitration pursuant to collective bargaining agreements.
